Read MoreDamascus Christian Education Foundation (DCEF) was established in 2010 to provide an additional funding source for Damascus Christian School. The fund is designed to solely support Damascus Christian School in its educational and religious purposes.
We have added several new board members this year. A big welcome to Troy Brummell and Hannah Rankin!
We are very happy to have been able to award more than $18,000 in scholarships this school year. DCEF’s endowment awarded $13,635 for general financial aid, and the Keaton Coffey Memorial Scholarship awarded a total of $4,750 to 4 secondary students who are giving back to their communities.
Excellence comes with a cost. Unfortunately for some families, that cost is greater than their resources. Year after year, prospective students are not able to enroll in Damascus Christian School for financial reasons. Due to the periodic gifts of generous donors, financial assistance is made available for qualifying families, granting the opportunity for additional students to attend DCS.
